Ghanaian actor Kofi Adu, known as Agya Koo, has urged Ghanaians to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, in the 2024 presidential election.
In a recent NPP campaign rally in Takoradi, Agya Koo highlighted the achievements of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration, emphasizing the need to continue with the NPP’s leadership.
Agya Koo praised the current government for its contributions to national development and urged voters to remain loyal to the NPP.

He stressed that the youth should not be swayed by promises from other political parties, but rather support Dr. Bawumia for a better future for Ghana.
“Wherever I go, both young and old remember the positive changes brought by President Akufo-Addo and his government. We should be thankful for the developmental projects they have implemented. I urge the youth not to be misled by mere words. For the sake of Ghana’s future and our children, I appeal to you to vote for the NPP,” Agya Koo said, as reported by JoyNews on X.
As the general elections approach, Dr. Bawumia faces a significant challenge from John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), along with other candidates from various parties.
Agya Koo’s call to action is a part of the NPP’s broader campaign efforts to consolidate support and ensure a strong turnout for Bawumia.
