Actor John Peasah, known for his role as Drogba in the popular television series ‘YOLO’, is facing serious health challenges and now depends on oxygen to breathe.
The Ghanaian actor’s health has deteriorated significantly, and he has shared some troubling updates. Drogba has been dealing with Obstructive Sleep Apnea since March 2024.

This condition, which affects his breathing, has become more intense, and he needs constant oxygen support. In a recently deleted post, he shared that his sleep apnea has significantly worsened.
In addition to sleep apnea, Drogba is battling several other health problems. He has Stiff Person Spectrum Disorder, a rare condition that causes painful muscle stiffness and spasms.
He is also dealing with GAD Positive Cerebellar Ataxia, which affects his balance and coordination.
The actor is experiencing severe lower back pain due to a bulging disc in his spine, which also causes pain that radiates to his legs, making it hard to walk.

He also struggles with claustrophobia, an intense fear of confined spaces that gets worse during treatments.
Drogba has reported issues with vision, tremors, and dizziness. He is set to start IVIG (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) Therapy, a costly treatment that adds to the financial burden of managing his multiple conditions.

He recently pleaded with the Vice President to deliver on a promise he made regarding his health.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank the Vice President of the land, @mbawumia, for honouring my visit to his office and also for visiting my house and for the support,” Peasah wrote.
He continued, “I would like to say that I might look better, but inwardly, I’m in excruciating pain… this pain is not explainable. Please, I want to remind him not to forget his promise for my treatment outside. Thank you.”
