Nigerian crossdresser Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has finally regained his freedom from Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
Bobrisky was imprisoned for six months after being convicted for abusing the naira by spraying it at parties.
The sentence was handed down by Justice Abimbola Awogboro on April 12, 2024, with no option for a fine.

The news of Bobrisky’s release has quickly gone viral, thanks to a series of trending clips.
In one of these clips, the crossdresser is seen sporting his signature makeup and glamorous look, even though he had just been released from jail.
Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao was present with Bobrisky as he officially left Kirikiri prison, marking the end of his nearly six-month stay behind bars.
In a heartfelt message to his followers, Bobrisky expressed his excitement to be free. “I’ve missed you guys so much. I can’t wait to have you guys and give you guys what you have missed,” he said.
