Renowned Ghanaian reggae dancehall star Stonebwoy recently attracted attention with a generous gesture during his visit to Akropong.
The artist, known for his vibrant performances and philanthropic spirit, made headlines after interacting with a group of soldiers in a surprising way.
The heartwarming moment was caught on video as Stonebwoy, standing through the sunroof of his car and enthusiastically greeting his fans, encountered a group of soldiers in a military convoy on the other side of the road.

The soldiers, upon spotting Stonebwoy, began chanting “bhim, bhim, Stonebwoy,” showing their excitement at seeing the star.
In response, Stonebwoy reached out with GH₵20 notes to all the officers who had their hands extended from their bus.
This gesture of goodwill quickly became a topic of discussion online, with a variety of reactions from the public.
Many people praised Stonebwoy for his kindness and his consistent efforts to support military personnel.

On the other hand, some viewers expressed disappointment and concern. @Jason~Drake wrote, “Big shame to Ghana 💔US army will never do this. Our security personnel are very hungry hmm.”
@Richie took a different view, focusing on the positive emotions rather than the monetary value. “It is not about the money but how happy these officers are to see their man Stonebwoy,” Richie noted.
