Renowned Ghanaian rapper Okyeame Kwame, known in private as Kwame Nisah Apau, has lauded Daddy Lumba for saving his career.
In an exclusive interview with ZionFelix, Okyeame Kwame revealed that it was Daddy Lumba who convinced him to return to Ghana to pursue music.
“Yeah, when Daddy Lumba called me and said, ‘Okyeame, you for come back Ghana make we do some music,’ I really had to think about it,” Okyeame Kwame recounted.

“I was in abroad, and the Akyeame Music Group had disbanded. It was a tough decision because I wasn’t sure how things would go as a solo artist.”
Upon his arrival in Ghana, Daddy Lumba didn’t just talk; he backed up his words with action. He immediately employed Okyeame Kwame on an album project that not only rejuvenated his career but also reaffirmed his place in the music industry.

He expressed his gratitude to Daddy Lumba for encouraging him to come back to Ghana and continue his music career as a solo musician.
