Ghanaian dance stars Afronitaa and her protégé Abigail, winner of Talented Kidz Season 14, have returned to Accra after an impressive performance on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent, securing third place.
The show was held in London and the dancers have spent the past month in abroad to participate in the competition.
The talented duo touched down at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra to a hero’s welcome on Sunday, June 17.

At the airport, they were met with a grand welcome, receiving flowers and being escorted by adowa dancers as they approached the crowd.
The venue was teeming with a large audience, including children from Afrostar Kids Academy who waited eagerly for Afronita and Abigail.
Dressed in colourful outfits, the kids celebrated the return of their mentor and her dance partner.
Videos of the warm welcome they received at Kotoka International Airport have gone viral on social media. In one of the clips that surfaced, the kids danced excitedly with their mentor at the airport.
Afronita and her protégé, Abigail, made Ghanaians proud with their performance in the finals of the competition, which earned them third place. Their energetic performances frequently earned standing ovations from the judges and the audience.
