In the midst of Ghanaian rapper Medikal and actress Fella Makafui’s marital issues, Ghanaian socialite Abena Korkor has offered her perspective and words of support.
In a video shared on social media, Abena Korkor expressed her genuine respect for both Medikal and Fella, recognizing Fella as a a cherished friend and highlighting the importance of discretion in their interactions.
She emphasized the need for collective empathy and understanding, urging people to avoid speculation and instead, show their support through prayers and compassion.

“I love Medikal so much and Fella too. Fella is a good friend, we are not best of friends who call each other all the time, same with Medikal but I don’t know what is happening in their home. Let’s support them with prayers and love… let’s be very cautious of how we talk about people’s marriages,” Abena Korkor expressed sincerely.
Reflecting on the complexities of marriage, Abena Korkor shared insights drawn from her own experiences in relationships.
Abena Korkor stated that despite not being married, she has gained insights from dating married people.
This has led her to refrain from rushing into marriage, as she seeks a lifelong commitment and hopes to avoid divorce in her future marriage.
“I have not been married before but I have dated a lot of married men and a couple of married women. So at least I have first-hand experience. That is why I am not in a rush to get married. I want one that will last forever, God forbid that I will divorce in my marriage,” she disclosed.

Abena Korkor’s video comes after Medikal, in a series of social media posts, opened up about experiencing physical, verbal and emotional abuse in his marriage with actress Fella Makafui.
The two recently announced a separation adding that they were co-parenting with respect to their daughter, Island.
