Ghanaian rapper Emmanuel Kofi Botwe, popularly called Kwaw Kese has jabbed fellow rapper Sarkodie following the release of his new track, “Brag”.
On May 9th, 2024, Sarkodie dropped a bombshell with his track ‘Brag‘, igniting a rap feud between Ghana and Nigeria as he asserted his seniority.

From his forthcoming mixtape, ‘The Championship’, Sarkodie boldly proclaimed his dominance in Ghana’s music scene, challenging anyone to step up.
He mentions several artistes who emerged after him but asserts his continuous reign at the top.
“I gotta brag, I am too quiet…Wizkid came, I was already doing it. Davido started, I was already improving it. Then Odugwo came through, Black Sherif, Asake, and I’m still going… you thought I was losing it? My biggest competition is Kendrick and Cole…
“I swear to God, in Ghana nobody had the nerve. It was me, myself and I, who started all the load.”

Reacting to Sarkodie’s claims, Kwaw Kese did not hold back in expressing his discontent.
Taking to his X account, the veteran musician mocked Sarkodie’s assertions, implying that the rapper should remain humble given the artists who were already established when he entered the scene.
In a tweet dripping with sarcasm, Kwaw Kese stated, “When we were popping champagne, you were drinking Fanta,” accompanied by laughing emojis.
