Who is Charlie Sheen?
Carlos Irwin Estevez, better known as Charlie Sheen is an American movie and television actor. He started acting at a very young age and appeared in ‘Super 8’ movies.
He started doing cameos in movies during the late 80s and it was finally in 2000, that he appeared in a meaty role on television in the series called ‘Spin City’. His performance was critically acclaimed and he received a Golden Globe for it.
Soon after that, he got the biggest role of his acting career in CBS’s ‘Two and a Half Men’. He worked on the series for almost 8 years and received many Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.
The series had put him on the top of highest paid television actors’ list, earning US$1.8 million per episode of Two and a Half Men.
Sheen’s personal life has made headlines, including reports of alcohol and drug abuse and marital problems, as well as allegations of domestic violence. In March 2011, his contract for Two and a Half Men was terminated by CBS and Warner Bros. following his derogatory comments about the series’ creator, Chuck Lorre.
On November 17, 2015, Sheen publicly revealed that he is HIV positive, having been diagnosed four years previously. The disclosure resulted in a vast increase of online search queries for HIV prevention and testing, which was later dubbed the “Charlie Sheen effect.

During divorce proceedings, Denise Richards accused Charlie Sheen of worrying behavior, including death threats, physical violence, and seeking out pornographic material featuring what looked like underage actors, The Smoking Gun reported in April 2006.
Sheen denied the accusations. Nevertheless, when their divorce was finalized in 2006, the court determined Sheen should stay at least 300 feet from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum and their two daughters, except during supervised visits, Access reported.

Three years later, in May 2008, Sheen married Brooke Mueller, with whom he welcomed twin sons the following March. But less than two years after exchanging their vows, the couple opted to live separately.
“Sometimes when couples are trying to work things out, it’s better if they don’t reside under the same roof,” an insider told People. But it didn’t work, and Sheen filed for divorce in November 2010.
Four months after he filed paperwork, Sheen lost custody of their twins when Mueller was granted a restraining order, People reported in March 2011.
“I am very concerned that [Sheen] is currently insane,” Mueller’s document read. “I am in great fear that he will find me and attack me and I am in great fear for the children’s safety while in his care.” When the divorce became final that May, Mueller got physical custody while both were to share joint legal custody.
While Sheen’s first wife, Donna Peele, didn’t take him to court, their marriage took place amid controversy as well. In July 1995, about a month and a half before their wedding, Sheen was named in the federal criminal case against Heidi Fleiss and her prostitution ring, AP reported.
Some reports argued Sheen was eager to marry Peele after knowing her just a few weeks to hush up his involvement.

Cassandra Estevez: Charlie Sheen’s oldest child, born in 1984 to his high school sweetheart Paula Profit. Cassandra has reportedly pursued acting.
Sami Sheen: Sami, born in 2004, is Charlie’s eldest daughter with Richards. In 2022, she dropped out of high school and went to live with her dad amid tension with her mom.
Despite Charlie’s initial disapproval of Sami’s decision to join OnlyFans, he ultimately backed Richards’ approval of their daughter’s endeavor.
“Now more than ever, it’s essential that Sami have a united parental front to rely upon, as she embarks on this new adventure,” he exclusively told Us at the time. “From this moment forward, she’ll have it abundantly.”
Lola Sheen: Lola, Charlie’s second daughter with Richards, was born in June 2005 — three months after the reality star filed for divorce from Charlie. The two briefly reconciled before ultimately calling it quits in 2006.
Richards, who married Aaron Phypers in 2018, adopted daughter Eloise in 2011, five years after her split from Charlie.
Bob Sheen and Max Sheen: Bob and Max are the twin sons of Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards. They were born in March 2009, during their parents’ marriage.
