Matt Canada is an American football coach who most recently served as the offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL).
He previously was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Maryland, LSU, Pittsburgh, NC State, Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, Butler, and Indiana.

Early life and education
Matt Canada born on January 19, 1972 in New Palestine, Indiana, U.S
He attended New Palestine High School, where he played as a quarterback and led his team to a 20–3 record.
He then went to Indiana University Bloomington, where he became a student assistant for the football program during his sophomore year.
Coaching career
He started his coaching career at Indiana, where he worked as a graduate assistant, quarterbacks coach, passing game coordinator, and offensive coordinator from 1994 to 2010.
He then coached at various colleges, including Butler, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, NC State, Pittsburgh, LSU, and Maryland.

He also served as the interim head coach at Maryland in 2018.
On January 15, 2020, Canada was hired by the Pittsburgh Steelers as their quarterbacks coach.
On January 25, 2021, Canada was promoted to offensive coordinator of the Steelers, replacing Randy Fichtner.
During his Pittsburgh tenure, Canada has been the source of scrutiny, largely due to his playcalling where the Steelers offense has been ranked near the bottom of the league since Canada was hired.
On November 21, 2023, Matt Canada was fired by the Steelers.
