Johnny Ruffo was an Australian singer, songwriter, dancer, actor and television presenter notable for being a finalist on the third season of The X Factor Australia in 2011.
He was the last contestant eliminated in the competition and subsequently signed a recording contract with Sony Music Australia.

However, in 2020, he revealed that his cancer had returned and was terminal.
He wrote a memoir about his life and career, titled No Finish Line, which was published shortly before his death.
He is survived by his girlfriend Tahnee Sims, his parents Jill and Pascoe, and his brother Michael.
