Holly Willoughby is an English television presenter, author and model who worked on a number of CBBC and CITV shows during her early career and later became known for her work with ITV.
She currently co-presents the television shows ‘Dancing on Ice’ and ‘This Morning’, both with Phillip Schofield, and is also a team captain on the ITV2 show ‘Celebrity Juice’ alongside Fearne Cotton.
She rose to fame as a children’s entertainer co-presenting the CITV game show ‘Ministry of Mayhem’ with Stephen Mulhern.
She hosted the revived version of ‘Surprise Surprise’ for four seasons. Other notable shows she has worked on include ‘The Xtra Factor’, the charity telethon ‘Text Santa’, ‘The Voice UK’ and the sports-based panel show ‘Play to the Whistle’.
She has also presented various dating shows like ‘Streetmate’, ‘Holly & Fearne Go Dating’ with Fearne Cotton, and ‘Meet the Parents’.
She has co-authored a series of children’s books with her sister Kelly, another book with her friend and colleague Fearne Cotton, and has published a couple of self-help books for new mothers.
Who is Holly Willoughby?
Holly Willoughby was born in Brighton, East Sussex, the younger of two daughters of Brian Willoughby, a sales manager of a double-glazing company, and Linda Willoughby (née Fleming), a former air stewardess.
She was educated at the independent Burgess Hill Girls in the town of Burgess Hill in West Sussex, and The College of Richard Collyer in Horsham.
In 1995, at the age of 14, Willoughby was spotted by talent scouts at The Clothes Show Live exhibition and signed with the model agency, Storm Management.
She appeared in teen magazines for girls such as Mizz, Just Seventeen, Shout, and More!.
From 1998, at the age of 17, Willoughby started modelling bras, underwear and tights for clients including Pretty Polly, appearing in advertisements and posters.

Holly Willoughby’s husband Dan Baldwin also works in television, but he works behind the camera as a TV producer rather than the on-screen talent like his wife.
Holly and Dan met in 2004 whilst both working on entertainment show Ministry of Mayhem which aired on Saturday mornings.
Dan Baldwin is six years older than his wife and has also worked on shows such as Through the Keyhole, Virtually Famous and Celebrity Juice.
He is also the managing director of Hungry Bear Media, which is an independent production company set up in 2014 by Dan, Juliet Denison, and Peter Jones CBE.
Reportedly the couple were friends for six months before they began dating and kept their relationship a secret for eight months.

In 2006, Dan proposed to Holly on the day they moved into together.
The couple married a year later in August 4, 2007 when Holly was 26 and Dan was 32.
The wedding ceremony which took place at St Michael’s Church before hosting their wedding reception at Amberley Castle, a 900-year-old castle on the South Downs in West Sussex.
The celebration was attended by a number of the couple’s celebrity pals including Fearne Cotton and Dermot O’Leary.

Willoughby and her husband have three lovely children together – two boys and a girl. Their names are Harry Belle Baldwin, Belle Baldwin, and Chester William Baldwin respectively.
Harry is the eldest of the children and she was born on born May 11, 2009, making her 14 years of age at the moment.
Daughter Belle Baldwin is the second child and she is currently 12 years of age. Her date of birth is recorded as April 14, 2011.
Chester is Holly Willoughby’s last and youngest child. He was born on born September 29, 2014, and he is currently 9 years old.
