He started his professional footballing career in 2016-2017 when he joined VfL Wolfsburg and also spent 2 years in the German Bundesliga and made a total of 16 appearances before departing.
He joined Charleroi on loan in 2018-2019 and made 36 appearances with 20 goals to his name for the Belgian Pro League club.
He then joined Lille for a season in the French Ligue 1. He registered an impressive 38 appearances and scored 18 goals in the 2019-2020 season.
He joined Napoli in 2020-2021 in the Serie A. He is still with the Italian club and has so far made 77 appearances with 38 goals to his name.
