Who was Nicolas Kerdiles?

Nic Kerdiles in full, Nicolas Kerdiles was an American professional ice hockey forward. He played briefly in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Anaheim Ducks.

Kerdiles was selected by the Ducks in the second round (36th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Nicolas Kerdiles was born in Lewisville, Texas, to a French father and a French-Canadian mother. His first language was French, and he has two older sisters, both born in France.

Shortly after his birth, his family moved to France before settling in Irvine, California, when he was six years old.

Playing career

As a youth, Nic Kerdiles played in the 2007 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Los Angeles.

He attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison where he played two seasons of NCAA Division I hockey with the Wisconsin Badgers.

During his freshman season he led the Badgers to capture the Broadmoor Trophy as the WCHA playoff champion, and was recognized for his outstanding performance when he was voted the most valuable player of the 2013 WCHA Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament.

On April 5, 2014, Kerdiles relinquished his final two seasons of NCAA eligibility to sign a three-year entry-level contract with the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League.

He made his professional debut with the Ducks American Hockey League affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals during the 2014 Calder Cup playoffs.

On February 22, 2017, Nic Kerdiles made his NHL debut for the Ducks against the Boston Bruins. He became the first player raised in Orange County to play for the Anaheim Ducks.

The club re-signed him to a one-year, two-way extension worth $650,000 on June 17, 2017.

As an impending restricted free agent, Nic Kerdiles was traded by the Ducks to the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for Chase De Leo on June 30, 2018. He was later signed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Jets on August 21, 2018.

Nic Kerdiles cause of death; How did Nic Kerdiles die?

Nashville Police Department said Nic kerdiles died at the age of 29 in the early hours of Saturday morning “as a result of injuries” he sustained following the accident.

It’s believed he “ran through a stop sign” in a residential area north of central Nashville at around 3:30am.

Police also stated that Nic had hit the driver’s side of a BMW. Following the crash, Nic was immediately transferred to a local hospital.

Nic kerdiles had taken to his Instagram Story just hours before the incident to share a picture of himself sat on his motorbike. Captioning the post, he wrote: “Night rider.”

Savannah Chrisley Pays Tribute to Late Ex-Fiancé Nic Kerdiles

Savannah Chrisley is mourning her ex-fiancé, Nic Kerdiles, after his tragic, fatal motorcycle accident on Saturday (September 23).

The 26-year-old Growing Up Chrisley star took to her Instagram Stories to share an old video and photo of her and Nic alongside heartbreaking messages to him.

“I’m still hoping you’ll respond to my text…” Savannah wrote Sept. 23 on an Instagram Stories video of the two kissing.

The 26-year-old later shared a photo of the two from their an engagement photo shoot, taken in 2019 on the beach in Santa Monica, Calif.

“Heaven gained the most beautiful angel today. I miss you and I love you,” she wrote. “I’ll forever save our last messages of ‘I love you’… Please send me a sign that you’re ok… maybe it’ll be thru a ham and cheese crepe.. or pasta with white sauce… or maybe even your favorite carrot cake.”

Savannah continued in her second post, set to Dani and Lizzy’s 2016 song “Dancing in the Sky,” “We loved hard…and I can’t wait to ride bikes along the beaches of heaven with you one day.”
