Ramesh Bidhuri was born on July 18, 1961, and took office on December 4, 2003. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce from Saheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi, and his LLB from Charan Singh University. Ramesh married Kamla Bidhuri in 1987.
Ramesh was born into a respectable family. Ramesh’s parents are Shri Ramrikh and Smt. Charto Devi. Ramesh’s father and grandfather were dedicated social workers. In addition, Ramesh’s grandfather donated a large portion of their ancestral property to construct a school, a hospital, and an Arya Samaj Mandir. Since their construction, many people from Tughlakabad village have been getting significant benefits from them.
Just like his father and grandfather, Ramesh has a strong desire to serve the community. Ramesh got married to Kamla on March 2, 1987, and has three children, including a daughter and two sons. In addition, Ramesh has 1 younger brother and 3 older brothers.
Ramesh’s educational qualifications include a B.Com degree and LLB degree, which he completed from Delhi University, and Chaudhary Charan Singh University, respectively.
Since 1993, Ramesh has remained an active politician and has occupied esteemed positions in different religious and political organizations. Due to his accomplishments, Ramesh was selected as the General Secretary of BJP Delhi in 2008.

Ramesh started his political career when he was studying in college. Ramesh served as Mehrauli’s district general secretary in 1996. From 1997 to 2003, Ramesh served the BJP as its District President. In addition, the BJP appointed Rames as its Vice President for Delhi in 2003, and he served till 2008.
In May 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Ramesh was elected as the MP for the first time. Shortly after winning, Ramesh became a member of different committees, including the Standing Committee on Welfare of Other Backward Classes, the National Social Security Board, etc.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Ramesh won from the South Delhi Constituency, as he defeated his competitors, including Raghav Chadha and Vijender Singh, by a margin of more than 54% votes.
