On May 20, 1986, Rachel Morin (age 37) was born to her mother, Patty Morin, in Dover, New Hampshire, United States. Sources claim that Rachel spent a few years of her life in Dover but moved to Bel Air eventually.
She grew up in a big family of 4 siblings: Josiah, Rebekah, John, and Nathan. Since her teen years, Morin has been quite passionate about fitness. Instead of wasting free time doing something unuseful, she used to hit the gym or jog out.

Rachel Morin is a performing pianist, composer, adjudicator, clinician, church musician, and teacher. Her students have won many competitions and some have gone on to become respected musicians at prestigious colleges and religious institutions.
Dr. Morin teaches at her home studio in Troy, Michigan. While she upholds high standards for her students, Dr. Morin believes in respecting the individual needs and unique qualities of each one. Students learn a mixture of classical and popular music and are introduced to the fundamentals of music theory and improvisation/ composition.
Dr. Morin offers a variety of performance opportunities for students. As a member of NFMC, MTNA, the Vivace Music Club and the American Guild of Music, she regularly enters children in a variety of competitions if that is what they choose to do.
As a clinician, Dr. Morin has given several lectures around the state on the Taubman approach to piano technique. Dr. Morin is one of only 2 or 3 pianists within the state of Michigan to have worked one on one with the late Dorothy Taubman, considered by many to be the world’s leading expert on the prevention and healing of music related hand injuries as well as a master coach of leading concert pianists.
Morin was admitted to the teacher training program of the Piano Wellness Seminar and has had her teaching observed by Sheila Paige, the director of that program. Dr. Morin now helps professional and amateur pianists recover from hand injuries and uses her knowledge in this area to help younger students attain a high level of virtuosity while preventing injuries.
As a performer, Dr. Morin has played with the Macomb Symphony, Rochester Community Chorus and has also given numerous recitals in the United States and abroad. She has appeared as a concerto soloist with the Macomb Symphony, Southfield youth symphony and the Grinnell Orchestra.

On July 5, 2023, Rachel, a resident of Bel Air, left her residence with the intention of jogging along the Ma and Pa Trail.
Her attire for the outing included a dark tank top, black spandex shorts, a black sports bra, and gray sneakers. Concerns arose when she failed to return home, prompting a report to 911 about her disappearance.
In response, the local police initiated a search operation. The investigation revealed Morin’s vehicle near the Ma & Pa Trail. After locating her car, search teams meticulously combed the surrounding area, uncovering Rachel Morin’s lifeless body.
The police department has opted not to disclose specific details about the circumstances of her demise. Emphasizing that the case remains an ongoing investigation, law enforcement has indicated that further information will be announced in due course.
In the meantime, detectives have encouraged individuals at the Ma and Pa Trail during the relevant timeframe of Saturday and Sunday to promptly contact 911 if they observed any unusual or suspicious activities at the location.
