Surya Kumar Yadav was born on 14th September 1990 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
When he was 10 years old, his family moved to the Hathouda village of Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. Surya Kumar made his first cricket debut in the Ranji Trophy 2010-11 while playing for the Mumbai Team.
Surya Kumar Yadav completed his elementary school at Atomic Energy Central School, Mumbai, Maharashtra. After that, he completed his intermediate education at the Atomic Energy Junior College, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Later, he got a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Pillai College of Arts, Commerce, and Science, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Suryakumar Yadav Career
He scored 73 runs in the Ranji Trophy 2010-11. On 14th March 2021, he made his T20 International Debut for India against England. On 6th November 2022, Surya Kumar Yadav became the first Indian cricket player to score 1000 runs in a T20 International.
Surya Kumar Yadav has also played for India Blue, India Red, Mumbai A, IX teams (Mumbai Cricket Association) in Indian domestic cricket, West zone, and under-23 Indian Team. Also, he played for India A and India C in under-23 international junior cricket.
In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2012, Surya Kumar Ashok Yadav played one match for the IPL team Mumbai Indians. Later, he got disqualified from the team without any score.
In IPL 2014, Kumar played for the team Kolkata knight Riders, and in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015, Kumar scored a total of 46 runs in just 20 balls in a match.
