Laurence Fox is an English actor, singer, musician, and right-wing political activist who is best known for his portrayal of DS James Hathaway in Lewis from 2006 to 2015.

Laurence was born on May 26, 1978.
Laurence enrolled at Harrow School at the age of 13. Shortly prior to his A-levels, he was expelled. Later, upon trying to apply to college, his application was rejected due to a negative report from the Harrow School.
In the past, he trained in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art from where he graduated on July 1, 2001.
