American singer, Britney Spears was born on December 2nd, 1981 in McComb, Mississippi in the United States of America.
Spears was born to Lynne Irene Bridges and James Parnell Spears. She shares the same parents with her two siblings; a brother named Bryan Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears.

Spears started taking dance classes at age three in her native Kentwood, Louisiana, and was chosen to perform as a solo artist at the yearly performance.
When she graduated from kindergarten at age five, she made her local stage debut by singing “What Child Is This?” She also took singing and gymnastics training as a child, winning numerous state-level events and talent showcases for kids.

Spears and manager Lou Pearlman were negotiating for Spears to join the female pop group Innosense in June 1997. Lynne submitted a tape of Spears singing over a Whitney Houston karaoke song along with some images to family friend and Hollywood attorney Larry Rudolph for his perspective. Rudolph made the decision to pitch her to record labels, therefore she needed to get a polished demo.
He provided Spears an unreleased Toni Braxton song, which she practiced for a week and then recorded in a studio. Spears left for New York with the demo and visited with four label executives before flying back to Kentwood the same day.
