Randy Arozarena Biography
Arozarena grew up in Havana and started playing baseball at a young age. He played for the Cuban national team in 2015 and was scouted by several MLB teams. In 2016, Arozarena defected from Cuba and signed with the St. Louis Cardinals.

On November 23, 2020, Randy Arozarena was arrested in the Yucatán state of Mexico. The arrest came after he allegedly attempted to kidnap his two-year-old daughter from her mother and assaulted the woman’s father.
