Moment AKA Coffin Is Carried to Funeral — The family and friends of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, who was gunned down last week, gathered in Johannesburg on Saturday in a private funeral service to say their final goodbyes.
On Friday, a public memorial service was held for AKA at Sandton Convention Centre. The memorial was open to ticket holders and was streamed on his official YouTube channel.

The Forbes family will hold a private provincial funeral for AKA, born Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, today. Only close family and friends are expected to grace the proceedings.
Fans got to see a glimpse of rapper AKA’s coffin as it made its way to his final resting place. The casket was carried by a trailer hearse by a BMW provided by Broodie Funeral Parlour.
The funeral procession consisted of a convoy of BMW vehicles in honour of AKA’s favourite brand.
