David Bowie fans around the world were left devastated when the singer sadly passed away in 2016.
But one person who really felt the tragic loss was his beloved wife, Iman.

Who is David Bowie’s wife Iman?

She is the second wife of the late David Bowie, as he was married to
As a supermodel she has modeled for the likes of Gianni Versace, Halston, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan and Yves Saint Laurent.
Before David Bowie, Iman married a Somali entrepreneur at age 18, but the marriage ended not long after Iman moved to the US.
Iman then dated American actor Warren Beatty in 1977, before she married basketball player Spencer Haywood in the late 1970s.

How did David Bowie and Iman meet?
In 1990, Iman met her future husband David Bowie on a surprise blind date set up by a friend in Los Angeles.
The friend was hairdresser Teddy Antolin, who invited Iman to a party.
When she arrived at the restaurant, there were only four people there, including Bowie.
At the end of the evening, the singer offered to drive Iman home.
In 1992 couple wed in a private ceremony in Switzerland.
Following this, Iman had the wedding solemnised in Florence, Italy.
The couple remained together until Bowie’s death.
David Bowie died on January 10, 2016 at his New York City apartment
His Facebook page posted this message at the time: “David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18-month battle with cancer.
“While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.”
How many children did David Bowie have with Iman?
During their relationship, the couple had one child Alexandria “Lexi” Jones, who was born in New York City in 2000.
Bowie also welcomed his son Zowie, now known as Duncan, with his first Angela Barnett, in 1971.
Meanwhile, Iman also has a daughter called Zulekha with her second husband Spencer, who was born in 1978,
