MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – One person was killed and another was injured following a shooting at Ridgecrest Apartments in Frayser early Wednesday morning.
Memphis Police Department says officers were flagged down just after 1 a.m. at the Shell gas station at 2711 Range Line Rd. There they found a woman in a vehicle suffering a gunshot wound.
She was rushed to the hospital in non-critical condition.

MPD was advised that the shooting happened inside Ridgecrest Apartments on Shady Vista.
While responding to the scene inside the complex, officers found a 28-year-old man who was shot and died on the scene.
No suspect information is available at this time.
