Police are sharing more details about PnB Rock’s death a day after the rapper was gunned down as he enjoyed lunch at a Los Angeles restaurant.
Rapper PnB Rock, 30, whose real name was Rakim Allen, was shot and killed while eating lunch with his girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles.

A suspect approached the “Fleek” rapper and ordered him to hand over jewelry and other items. Moments later, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot PnB Rock several times.
The rapper, who was 30 years old, died shortly after and the suspect fled in a getaway car.
Controversy around his slaying spread immediately, with many—including rappers Kodak Black and Nicki Minaj—blaming the 30-year-old’s girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang, because she posted a geo-tagged Instagram story of their meal.
Cops confirmed Tuesday the ill-timed post may have played a part in Allen’s death.

Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore said the attack came “soon” after Sibounheuang posted a picture of the couple’s food at Roscoe’s, and detectives believe it may be what flagged Allen’s killer to his location.
“With his family—with his girlfriend or some kind of friend of his—and as they’re there, enjoying a simple meal, he’s brutally attacked by an individual who apparently [came] to the location after a social media posting,” Moore said Tuesday.
Police Capt. Kelly Muniz said a suspect brandished a firearm in the restaurant and demanded items from the victim.
“He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot,” she said.

Muniz said the victim was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead at 1:59 p.m.
A graphic video of the aftermath of the shooting shows the rapper alive but severely injured. Someone asks how old he is and a woman is heard saying, “He’s 30.”
No one else was injured in the restaurant, according to KTLA.
The suspect is still at large and has not been identified by authorities.
According to a law enforcement source, Los Angeles Police Department investigators are examining security video from inside the restaurant to identify the shooter.
They also are checking surrounding businesses to see whether security systems captured any images of the assailant leaving on foot or in a vehicle.
