BBNaija Season 7 Housemates — Big Brother Naija Season 7 also known as BBNaija: Level Up was the seventh season of the Nigerian version of the reality show Big Brother.
The seventh season of Big Brother Naija got off to a great start with presenter Ebuka bringing his A-game.
The addition of a live audience is one distinctive feature on the Saturday’s performance. “Level Up” serves as the season’s slogan.
During the live launch show on Saturday, July 23, 2022,the first set of housemates were introduced to the show.
Six male and six female contestants made their way to the house, marking the start of a new journey to fame for them.

1. Groovy – BBNaija | Big Brother:
Artist, fashion entrepreneur and model Groovy, is an ambitious 26-year-old from Anambra State. He has a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Lagos and loves working out and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
2. Beauty – BBNaija Season 7 | Big Brother:
The 24-year-old lawyer from Taraba State was crowned Miss Nigeria in 2019, becoming the country’s 43rd beauty to win the pageant. She also held the ‘Most Beautiful Girl Taraba’ title, from 2015 to 2017.
Although Beauty may drink a little too much at times, she’s still a 10! She hopes her authenticity and her strategy to “go with the flow” will carry her to the end.
3. Khalid – BBNaija Season 7 | Big Brother:
The 22-year-old freelance graphic designer and muralist from Plateau State loves to try new things and considers himself charismatic.
Khalid is ready to take it to the next level, as he promises to bring charisma, brains and be a team player in the House. However, isn’t the best cook, will he starve his Housemates?
4. Ilebaye
21-year-old Ilebaye is a criminology and security studies graduate and entrepreneur. She loves swimming, partying, bowling and shopping, and considers herself a controversial, adventurous go-getter.
5. Meet Cyph – BBNaija | Big Brother:
Art lover, movie junkie and music freak Cyph, hails from Imo State and studied Electrical Engineering at Madonna University.
He loves food, travel, fashion and cruise, and admits he can be quite enigmatic. “I’m goofy, sociable and playful too though, so that balances it out,” he says.
6. Meet Amaka
Amaka will be taking things to the next level by being our very own Nigerian of Nicki Minaj. Her strengths include being original and realistic while her weaknesses are being too emotional and impatient. Will the latter work against her?
7. Meet Kess – BBNaija | Big Brother:
Kess is a married 28-year-old businessman who enjoys living life to the fullest. Family means the world to him and he even counts one of his brothers as his best friend.
“He is like a twin brother to me. I love my family. Our struggles made us stronger and I’m blessed to have them in my life”.
8. Daniella
Daniella is here to make her mark! She plans to make sure she is seen in the House and her presence is felt. Housemates can trust her though, as she promises not to steal food.
9. Pharmsavi
Licensed pharmacist, Pharmsavi, is a confident multitalented extrovert with “an amazing sense of humour”.
He is passionate about life and acting in particular, and would like to pursue the craft as a profession in the near future.
10. Phyna
Phyna, 25, plans to level up be giving us the ginger and vibes. She believes that Big Brother Naija fans will love her because she’s jovial but they might find her too strict.
11. Meet Bryann
Singer and songwriter Bryann counts Wande Coal, Vybz Cartel and Angelique Kidjo as some of his musical influences.
The 24-year-old who hails from Imo State started releasing music in 2019, and finally put out a full-length project in 2021.
Vibes, big energy and swag are the things that Bryann promises to bring to Big Brother Season 7. He says he’s a threat because he’s super confident and is ready to adapt to any situation.
12. Christy O
Christy O is a beauty entrepreneur who runs a cosmetics business. This outspoken 24-year-old also models in her free time, and believes in giving people second chances.
Christy O is ready to bring good energy, fun and awesome vibes to the House, but watch your step because she hates liars, and always tells it like it is.
Big Brother Naija Season 7 launched on Saturday 23 July on Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban, and Africa Magic Family channels.
It also airs on the 24-hour channels 198 on DStv and 29 on GOtv. Fans across Africa are also able to stream via African online streaming service, Showmax, alongside fans in the UK.
