Nigerian singer Teniola Apatola famed as Teni, has clapped back at a social media troll who thought it would be a good idea to lecture her on her dressing.
The singer has a very active social media presence. And one thing that happens when celebrities are super active on social media, is that their fans and followers get too familiar with them, and start to think of them as people they know casually.

This could go one of two ways. It could build a sense of community around the celebrity. But more often than not, it takes a turn for the worse, with fans butting into the celeb’s life in ways that are not welcome nor invited.
This is what Teni found herself dealing with when she shared new photos of herself on social media. Taking to Twitter, she posted some pictures she was very happy with, and declared them as her fans’ new screen saver.
Without wasting any time, one follower told her that she needs to change her dressing – to dress more “properly” if she hopes for somebody’s son to marry her one day.

First off, it is the audacity of a faceless social media user to lecture someone else on their dressing. On top of that, it is that Teni dresses pretty decently already, and the fan just assumed that Teni lives her life in the hopes of being picked for marriage. But we don’t have to outline this, as the singer handled it pretty effectively on her own.
She swiftly clapped back at the troll, telling him that he was the undesirable one, and that no woman in her right mind would choose him as a spouse. Well, okay Teni, go off then!

The “Case” crooner has been doing a lot of good on social media, as she has spent the past week engaging in charity work online. She has been running a campaign to market an investment platform for which she is brand ambassador, and that has included some cash giveaways.
In classic Teni fashion, she has also done a beautiful giveaway for her fans’ mothers in honour of mothers’ day. This one was simple and had no strings attached, and fans had only to tell her something personal about their mothers – a reason they love and honour them, and the singer proceeded to send some money for them to enjoy in celebration.
This is rather classic for the singer, who has declared herself the sugar mummy of the whole world. No, this is not an exaggeration, she actually did say so, possibly in keeping with her song Sugar Mummy.
