The Ghana Revenue Authority has reacted to the trending news of a nine-year-old boy named Oswald Gennuh , writing a letter about his requests for Our Day celebrations items.
If you are active on social media, you probably have heard of Oswald and how a list he sent to his mother went viral and has resulted in the biggest “Our Day” celebration in Ghana

A lot of brands and companies in the country sponsored the ceremony with their products and donations to make it a memorable one for Oswald, his mates and teachers.
Aside from the sponsorship from the brands, two musicians – KiDi and Mr Drew – also showed up at the school and perform for the pupils of Christ Ambassadors School .
In a post after the grand exchange of gifts took place in Oswald’s school, the GRA indicated on their verified Instagram handle that they were watching closely.

In a rather hilarious post, they stated that although Oswald himself is too young to be taxed, his teacher who also received a lot of gifts must be ready for them.
In their own words followed by laughing emojis: “This boy is too young for tax but somebody should tell Mrs Appiah to get ready for us”
