A Nigerian lady is smiling all the way to the bank after she got a whopping ₦2.5 million (₵35,500) for accepting to spend the rest of her life with her boyfriend.
According to the skincare specialist, who took to her Instagram page to share the good news, she posted a video of the surprise proposal on her Instagram page and it has attracted several reactions from her followers.
In the video, which currently trending, the waiters brought a dessert plate which had “Will you marry me?” boldly written on it, alongside a cake slice and the engagement ring too.

Initially when it was served to her, she was indifferent about the covered plate but her boyfriend insisted that she opens the plate and her reaction after seeing the question was priceless.
The lady accepted his proposal without giving it much thought, but unknown to her, that her boyfriend had something else planned for her.
While the excited bride-to-be was still admiring her ring, the waiters again brought an envelope containing ₦2.5 million and presented it to the her.
According to the boyfriend, the money is her reward for being there for him when he was nobody and saying YES to his marriage proposal.
