Kenya – A man has been sentenced to three months in jail or pay a fine of Ksh.20,000 for allowing his seven-year-old son to drive a vehicle.
Ayub Kinyanjui Muigai, while appearing in court on Tuesday, June 15, pleaded guilty to permitting a person who is not a holder of a valid driving licence to drive a motor vehicle.

He was, in turn, sentenced to three months in jail with an alternative of paying a KSh 20,000 fine.
Kinyanjui was arrested in Gatanga on Monday, June 14, by traffic police officers from Kikwara in conjunction with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) sleuths.
This is after a video of his 7-year-old son driving the posh vehicle at the Delview Park area in Thika went viral.

In the video that went viral on Sunday, June 13, the seven-year-old boy could be seen effortlessly driving the posh car while engaging the gears like a pro.
