A bullion Van with registration number GN 6956-17 has been attacked Thursday, June 17, at Gomoa Dominase on the Kasoa-Winneba road.
According to reports, the suspected armed robbers, numbering about six, allegedly emerged from the bush and shot the window at the passenger side of the vehicle where the police security guard was sitting.

The armed men took to their heels after the failed attempt .
The incident happened around 4:00pm, about 500 meters away from the Okyereko police station.
None of the occupants of the van were injured. The incident has been reported to the Winneba police for investigations.

According to the police, the van was transporting money to the bank.
This is the second bullion van attack in less than three days. A Police officer was shot dead by armed robbers in an attack on a bullion van at Adedenpo near James Town in Accra on Monday June 14.
