The Church of Pentecost has handed over an ultramodern and fully furnished prison facility to the Ghana Prisons Service.
The facility is at Ejura in the Ashanti Region and many Ghanaians have applauded the church for this venture.
The church built the facility as they try to help make various prisons as decent a place to live as possible.

This comes after the Church of Pentecost announced in January this year its plans to build prisons in the country.
The decision came under serious criticism as many believed that the church had other pressing issues to attend to other than building a prison.
The church leadership came out to explain the rationale behind the decision that Prisons can be anybody’s second home as some of the apostles in the Bible were even kept in prisons for committing no crime.
