A video of a car causing havoc at News Café in Rosebank, Johannesburg on Friday night, has surfaced on social media.
The man reportedly tried to gain entry to the restaurant to see his ex-girlfriend and when he was denied by bouncers things took a nasty turn.

In the video below , the vehicle crashes through tables and chairs but falls short of breaking into the building.
Rosebank Management District vehicles and personnel can also be seen in the video, trying to bring the situation under control, which they managed to do eventually.
The man reverses through the upended tables and chairs and speeds off before he makes another collision and comes to a halt.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident but parked cars, the building’s façade and Rosebank Management District’s vehicle were damaged.
The 33-year-old man was arrested by the South African Police Services and faced charges of negligent and reckless driving in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 26 April.
