An Electoral Commission (EC) official at the Awutu Senya constituency in the Central region has been accused of tampering with ballot papers.

According to Joy News TV, the EC official had issued presidential ballot sheets without President Nana Akufo-Addo’s section.
Joy News TV’s Kofi Agyei indicated that two people were issued those ballot sheets without Akufo-Addo’s image which had been left in the booklet.
The NPP’s Member of Parliament (MP) for Awutu Senya West indicated his attention was drawn to the matter by party agents.

For him, it was a serious issue because he deemed it a deliberate ploy by the EC official to give the advantage of NPP’s number on the campaign n to the NDC ballot.
