Ghana Health Service(GHS) opened up on details of all COVID-19 deaths in Ghana.

In the current update of the Ghana Health Service on the novel coronavirus pandemics, full details of those who are dead are released.

A breakdown revealed that the youngest person was nine years old and surprisingly, he had no underlying condition.

What can also be seen from the list is that greater portion of the people who have lost their lives in the fight against Covid-19, had Hypertension and Diabetes.

Other underlying conditions that were also deduced includes cerebrovascular disorder, retroviral infection, asthma, chronic liver disease and intestinal pulmonary disease.

More so, 11 out of the total of 28 deaths recorded are female whilst the 17 majority are all males, based on the report.

In total, three individuals had no underlying conditions and joined their ancestors due to the negative effects of the novel coronavirus on the body.

Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus or COVID-19 in Ghana has increased from 5,530 to 5,638 in the latest update on the pandemic.

It is revealed that the number of deaths has also risen by four, bringing the total to 28 whilst the number of recoveries has also shot up to 1,460.
