The embattled husband of a 27-year-old woman, who conspired with her lover to kill the husband at Pameng in the Atiwa West District of the Eastern region, indicates he has forgiven his wife.
Fifty-five-year-old Cudjoe Gator is also pleading for mercy for the wife, with whom he has four kids.

Twenty-seven year old Mavis Brepo, also known as Ohemaa, and her 51-year-old boyfriend, identified as Patrick Asare,were apprehended by police at the Manhyia Divisional Command for conspiring to murder.
The two were remanded into police custody when they made their inaugural appearance before the Asokwa Magistrate.

Reports suggest that, there were several attempts to execute their plans but to no avail. Until they eventually mistook the contract killer’s phone number for Manhyia Divisional Commander’s which led to the apprehension.
As to whether the call by the husband Mr.Cudjoe Gator for mercy to be tampered with justice would be adhered to, is a question left unanswered on the minds of many.
