COVID 19: No Payment of Water Bills for the Next 3 Months -Akuffo Addo Announces [Video]

The President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo have announced that Payments of Water Bill in Ghana would be frozen for the next 3 months.

He made this announcement as he made an update of the current strategies adopted by his administration to tackle the spread of the Covid 19 virus.

He detailed he has directed the Ministry of Water and Ghana Water Company not to Bill Ghanaians water Bill for the Next 3 Months as Government would absorb water Bills for affected areas of the Lockdown in Ghana.

This announcement comes after much criticism that the government is not doing anything to help innocent Ghanaians who cant afford basic amenities without working working whilst on Lockdown.

“Furthermore, government will absorb the water bills for all Ghanaians for the next three months i.e April, May and June,” he added.
