His lawyers Smith & Adelaide, penned down a letter to the Chief Executive Officer of the health facility, asking for a post-mortem to show the cause of his father’s death.

His lawyers added that their client Obour will seek the services of an independent medical officer to undertake the autopsy should the hospital refused to carry out the task.

“If the medical facility is not in the position to undertake the autopsy within the shortest possible time, their client [Obour] will offer to contract an independent medical officer to undertake the autopsy, subject to the safety measures and regulations governing such procedures”, said the letter.

This request follows reports alleging that the musician hid his father’s coronavirus status.

Obour is reported to have been unable to disclose the travel history of his father to officers at Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Ridge, on Thursday, March 27, 2020.

The musician is said to have put all medical officers, who attended to his father, at risk of contracting coronavirus since they were not in any protective gear.
