Actress Ngozi Ezeonu replies ex-hubby on their daughter’s marriage without consent saga

Popular Nollywood actress, Ngozi Ezeonu has replied her ex-husband,Edwin Ezeonu, for laying a curse on their daughter for getting married without his consent.

Veteran actress Ngozi Ezeonu was dragged for marrying off her daughter, Odechukwu Ediwa Ezeonu, without getting the father’s consent.

It should be noted that the said daughter got married on Saturday, February 15, in a classy traditional ceremony held in Asaba, Delta state.

Media also reported that the girl’s father, who is also Ngozi’s ex-husband, was not present at the event.

In a viral media report, the man said that the daughter got married without his hand, saying that the Igbo tradition does not allow a woman to give out a daughter’s hand in marriage.

On that note, as far as he is concerned, his daughter Ogechukwu Edwina Ezeonu is still unmarried and that marriage is cursed.

Mr. Ezeonu also emphasized that he is native of Nnobi while his estranged wife, Ngozi is from Ogbunike, both in Anambra State, yet his daughter’s traditional marriage was held in Delta State, an act seen as abomination in his community.

Reacting few weeks later, Ngozi who had gone through pains coming from people’s reactions on her ex-husband’s call out, posted a cryptic message on her Instagram page which reads,
