Information reaching as indicates that one of the men who have been tasked with the fumigation exercise at Amasaman collapsed while spraying.
The man was instantly rushed to the hospital to receive treatment.

In a photo, the said man was seen on a hospital bed in his working gear with his boots and face mask close to him.
Other checks also indicate that the man has been treated and discharged to go join his family.
The fumigation exercise is as a result of the government’s efforts to eradicate the dreadful coronavirus that is whipping the entire nation.
According to the Ministry, 1,300 sprayers were engaged to do the exercise and 10 will be assigned to each market.
The Ministry in a statement said: “In pursuant to the directives, a number of activities have been initiated including the disinfection of markets, public education initiation of market women on the COVID-19. In view of this, the general public is hereby informed of the disinfection of 137 markets in the Greater Accra Region on Monday 23rd March 2020”.
All affected markets will reopen for business transaction on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.
