A Ghanaian lady on Twitter has just insulted the President of Ghana after he declared March 25, 2020, a national day of fasting and prayers to fight the corona
The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo declared March 25, 2020, a national day of fasting and prayers. The President said this in a live broadcast on Saturday-March 21, 2020 in the ‘3rd Update’ of the coronavirus situation in Ghana.

This did not go down well with a Ghanaian lady based in the UK who has called the President negligent and stupid in a tweet. According to the lady who goes by the name Barbara Ntumy, Akufo Addo should stop being stupid and put in the right measures to fight the coronavirus.
According to her, fasting and prayers is not the response to fight the coronavirus pandemic which Ghana has already recorded 21 cases and has already claimed one life in Ghana as confirmed yesterday by the President.
Her post on Twitter has attracted a lot of backlashes as many believe she could have stated her opinions without insulting the President of Ghana who is old enough to be her grandfather.

President Akufo Addo yesterday charged all Christians and Muslims to join forces to pray and fast on Wednesday so we can defeat the deadly effect of the coronavirus
