Popular Nigerian actress, Rita Dominic, has shared a post about how social media is being used as a yardstick to measure wealth.
The Nollywood star who realized that people are of the opinion that because she doesn’t post labels, exotic trips she’s not “balling” took to social media to clear the air on such absurd thoughts.

In the post, Dominic explained that some people believe that when others don’t show off things like designer labels and holiday trips they are not rich.
According to the actress, this thinking is a form of a poverty mentality. She said happiness or wealth means different things to different people.
Dominic in the statement shared via her Insta-stories questioned the public, as to why social media posts have become the yardstick for determining who is wealthy and who is poor.
