Popular Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, better known as Teni, appears to have gotten into the bad books of Nigerian feminists, following her recent post on Twitter.
Teni in her tweet said feminists hold on to their ideologies till it’s time for a man to go down on one knee to propose to them. She added that there’s nothing wrong with a lady proposing to her man.

The tweet which has since gone viral with over 11,000 likes, appears to have annoyed many women on Twitter, most of whom declared her canceled.
Some however advised her to educate herself more on what feminism really is, as they believe it actually is more than a woman proposing to a man.
