Social media was recently set on a frenzy after a report claiming that legendary highlife musician , Charles Kwadwo Fosu aka Daddy Lumba, lost his life.
According to the rumours, Daddy Lumba gave up his ghost on Saturday, January 11, 2020, after he was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition.

But Philip Appiah Kubi who happens to be Daddy Lumba’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) has debunked the rumours that the veteran highlife musician is dead.
Mr Kubi described the rumours as unfortunate and distasteful and insisted Daddy Kumba is very much alive and well.
In an interview Mr Kubi, known in showbiz as Roman Fada said,
“I would like to categorically deny this rumour and tell Daddy Lumba’s teeming fans and friends alike that he is doing well. Daddy Lumba is alive and kicking.”
Roman Fada, went on to advise the general public to quit peddling unfortunate rumours like this as Daddy Lumba “has not finished with his assignment on earth.”
