The much anticipated end of year concert tagged Nativeland, held at the Muri Okunola Park Lagos, just ended disastrously.
According to viral reports in the online community, a VIP platform at the event came crashing down, while Nigerian music sensation, Fireboy DML was performing

This was said to have happened while Fireboy DML was performing his popular song titled ‘Party Scatter’ off the Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps album.
According to this tweeter, there was a stampede and people fell over each other and got badly injured. Then chaos ensued.

Confirming the unfortunate reports, the artiste shared a post on micro blogging platform, Twitter, in which he apologized to everyone that got hurt during the stampede.
“things didn’t exactly go right at NATIVELAND ‘19 but i’m glad we could still vibe and have fun — massive thanks to all of you that came out for me and quick recovery to those that got hurt at the stampede. love and blessings,” his post read.
