The month of December is no doubt always a fun one for Nigerians are shows are lined up to entertain people and allow them unwind from the stress of the previous months.
On December 5, 2019, American rapper, Cardi B, arrived in Nigeria ahead of her show and the news has been met with wide spread joy from her fans on social media.

The obviously excited rapper took to her Instagram story to share moments from her arrival in the country as she recorded the streets of Lagos.
In the video shared on her page, Cardi could be heard excitedly rejoicing that she is in the country as she claimed it actually looks like the Dominican Republic.
In the video she said: “Mehn we are in motherf*cking Nigeria yeah, no lies this shi*t looks like Dominican Republic, this shi*t looks like DR straightup”.

The Bodak Yellow star’s father is Dominican while her mother is Trinidadian and Spanish even though Cardi grew up in South Bronx. Interesting.
