A 46-seater bus on Friday morning 6 December submerged in flood waters along the Ukia-Kalamba road in Makueni County, Kenya .
Rescue operations have been launched to pull out a 46-seater bus that was submerged into raging Kyamela river in Makueni county.

The bus was swept while on its way to Mtito Andei along Ukia-Kalamba road on the early morning of Friday, December 6, when it slipped off a drift of the swollen river.
Efforts by the government to rescue the passengers are underway as some of the area residents took it upon themselves to help the ones affected.
The number of passengers aboard the vehicle at the time of the accident was not immediately established.
It is not clear if anyone has been hurt in the unfortunate incident. More to follow…
