Ghanaian upcoming afrobeat artist Kweku Smoke has accused dancehall artist Shatta Wale of sending thugs to assault him and his manager. The brouhaha between Shatta Wale and Kweku Smoke started after the latter accused Shatta of stealing his music.
According to Kweku Smoke, he went to give Shatta Wale one of his songs to listen so that he would feature Shatta Wale on it. However, things didn’t turn out the way he expected when he realized Shatta has made the song his own by changing a few words.

In the video he posted on Instagram, he stated categorically that, after the issue, Shatta had invited them over to his house along with his manager unknown to them that it was a trap. He said he was beaten severely including his manager and the car in which they drove in was also vandalized.

He blamed Ghanaians for supporting such unscrupulous behavior just because he is rich and powerful in society. Nana Boroo also reacted to the incident by vowing to revenge Shatta Wale for beating up Kweku Stone.

Nana added that, there are laws in this country and it will surely work, hinting they have filed a report for Shatta Wale to be arrested and he also swore to cut off those thug wings that makes Shatta feel untouchable. He believes Shatta has bitten more than he can chew. Could this be a start of a war between them?

We are yet to receive Shatta Wale’s side of the story but if what they are accusing him is true then he has to face the law.
