Emmanuel Ato-Kwamena Amonoo who is popular known in the music industry as Quamina MP has disclosed some challenges he went through whiles growing up. In an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay show, he recapped his experiences when he was trying to make it in music.
One of them was how much he spent in a week , which he said was 20 cedis. It came as a surprise for even delay when she heard that he had to rely on such a small amount of money.

According to the young hitmaker, he had to leave home and hustle in order to get to where he wanted to be. He perched with friends from one to the other and when he finally was offered a studio to stay in, the studio burnt down including all his belongings.
He then met Kwesi Arthur and from the remix of his hit song ‘Wiase y3 de’ he begun to make it in life. When asked if he had a girlfriend, he said no and that his ex girlfriend also left him because they use to eat gari frequently.
He also added that, the reason behind his dreadlocks was that when he hustling he didn’t have money to buy comb or go to the bar bering shop and that’s why his hair turned out that way.
