First Ghanaian movie ever to be selected for the Golden Globe awards.

Ghana has set a record in history making as a Ghanaian movie has been nominated for the Golden Globe awards as the Best Foreign Language Film.

The director of the movie The Burial of Kojo was directed is Samuel Bazawule know in the entertainment industry as Blitz the Ambassador. Samuel is a hip-hop artist, filmmaker, as well as visual artist.

The movie is a story about two brothers portrayed by a gifted girl who sees the time between life and death.
The Burial of Kojo is said to be one of the best reviewed films of 2019 and is also being shown on Netflix.

The category is made up of different movies from 65 other countries such as Atlantics from Senegal and The Boy Who Harnessed the Windfrom Malawi.
