Ivorians woke up on Monday morning to the sad news of Houon Ange Didier well-known as DJ Arafat ’ passing.
The talented Coupé-décalé singer died after he was involved in an ugly road accident while riding his power bike.

The fatal accident reportedly took place on Sunday, August 11, and the singer was confirmed dead after he was rushed to the hospital.
Currently funeral rites are underway in Ivory Coast for famed music icon.
The singer was also known for his love of motorcycles and featured them in his most recent hit, Moto Moto, released in May, which has had more than five million YouTube views.

As Ivorians mourn his passing, some fans also took the street to pay their last respect to the singer with their ‘killer’ riding skills.
